Finding Flow - Dance for Parkinson's

Finding Flow is a dance and creative movement programme for people living with Parkinson’s, designed to support coordination, confidence and connection.

Finding Flow is a dynamic new programme from Moving Minds that brings people living with Parkinson’s together with their families and friends through the joy of dance, creative movement, and collective expression.

Running in Darlington, this series of weekly sessions is designed to support mobility, confidence, and connection. Finding Flow is an invitation to create, to experiment, and to explore what’s possible when we move together with imagination and intent.

At the heart of the programme is an innovative and collaborative approach. Sessions are co-created with participants, blending structured movement with improvisation, storytelling, music, and visual inspiration.

Over time, the group will work together to create original dance piece. Whether participants are dancing, shaping ideas, offering music, or simply witnessing and supporting, everyone has a role in making this work come to life.

Finding Flow is about movement, but it’s also about momentum—building community, resilience, and joy through the arts.
